KAYCEE L. JONES, ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Kaycee L. Jones was born and raised in Livingston, Texas.  She attended Livingston schools, graduating from Livingston High School in 1993.  She attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1997 with a degree in History and English.

Kaycee taught at Livingston Junior High School for a year before attending law school at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.  After graduation from law school she moved back to Livingston and was hired at the Polk County District Attorney's Office in 2002. 

When Kaycee started at the office as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney, she was the juvenile prosecutor.  In early 2005, she became a felony prosecutor.
