Jessica Slack, Criminal Investigator

Jessica graduated Big Sandy ISD in 1998 and began her law enforcement career as a dispatcher with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in 1999. In 2005, she transferred to the Polk County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as a Legal Secretary, leaving there in 2007 to attend the Police Academy. Jessica graduated from the Angelina College Police Academy in 2008. After graduation she went on to serve as the Warrents Officer with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and later promoted to Dispatch Supervisor. She decided to join the investigation team at the District Attorney’s Office in October of 2011.

Jessica is the proud mother of two children.
