Brian Foley, Assistant District Attorney

Brian Foley is an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for the Polk County District Attorney’s office handling felony cases in the 258th and 411th District Courts. He joined the Polk County District Attorney’s Office in June of 2013. Prior to his employment in Polk County Mr. Foley was a prosecutor in Brazos County, Texas from August of 2010 to May of 2013.

Mr. Foley graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station and received his law degree from The Texas Tech University School of Law. In 2005 Mr. Foley was an intern for George W. Bush at the White House.

In law school Mr. Foley was a member of the 2008 NLLSA Moot Court National Championship team and received the highest individual award for advocacy in the Southwest region of the United States in the 2009 Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

Since becoming a prosecutor he has been published in the Texas District and County Attorney Association’s journal, The Texas Prosecutor.
